Our partner in charge of home care services.

Équilibre à domicile offers you a private home care service provided by an accredited health care professional (licensed and registered nursing assistant with an active license from the Ordre des infirmières auxiliaires du Québec).

 

We work closely with your current health care team (physicians, pharmacists, nurses, naturopaths, physiotherapists, etc.) to provide you with effective aftercare tailored to all the specifics of your physical, emotional/psychological and environmental reality.

 

Care can be provided during the day, evening or night. We will determine the number of hours needed together after assessing your needs.

Assistance with daily tasks

 

  • Dressing and personal hygiene care.
  • Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
  • Advice on adapting and/or creating a balanced menu to suit your tastes.
  • Transportation services for medical appointments, personal moves and errands.
  • Make your various purchases for everyday life. (Pharmacy, grocery store…)
  • Respite service and babysitting.
  • Supervision of all daily activities according to your needs.

Nursing care services

 

  • Blood pressure and capillary blood sugar   (complete vital signs monitoring), catheter care and ostomy management, dressing changes.
  • Medication management.
  • Private care services during hospitalization.
  • Assistance with rehabilitation and exercises to maintain independence.
  • Postooperative care.
  • Physical and psychological support for the patient, family and friends during palliative care. (This service is not intrusive and will be provided according to your needs and within your means).

For your home

 

  • Complete interior cleaning, laundry.
  • Outdoor cleaning and grounds maintenance in all seasons.
  • Any tasks requiring help to keep your home running smoothly.

Your needs change over time and episodes of isolated health problems can occur occasionally. You can count on our dedicated team to quickly adapt to your new reality and provide you with the care you need in your condition.
